The San Leandro Unified School District is thrilled to invite up to 75 teachers in addition to our 75 Instructional Innovators to attend our first annual Teaching and Innovation Conference. Our three day conference will include three engaging keynotes and the Buck Institute for Education’s foundational three day Project Based Learning 101 Workshop. We invite teachers who are excited about adopting PBL as a pedagogy for creating a 21st century learning environment where students collaborate, produce authentic work, and integrate technology all while mastering Common Core State Standards content.
Please consider this exciting professional development opportunity before launching the 2014-2015 school year. After these three days with SLUSD leadership, our new instructional coaches, fellow teachers, and the Buck Institute for Education; you could be implementing your first CCSS aligned project this fall! We look forward to hosting the first 75 teachers who register AND our 75 registered teachers will be offered 1.3 semester units as professional growth credit!
*Important Note: Instructional Innovator Teachers and Instructional Coaches do NOT need to register. You are automatically registered!
