Who is the professional development provider?
Who should attend?
SLUSD Instructional Innovators, Instructional Coaches, District Administrators, Site Administrators, and the first 75 teachers who register and are interested in learning about Project Based Learning.
Are teachers being compensated for their attendance to the conference?
Instructional Innovators are being compensated as part of their Instructional Innovator Stipend, but the other 75 teachers are being provided the opportunity to earn professional growth credits.
Do teachers earn professional growth credits for their attendance at the conference?
Yes, the 75 registered teachers will receive 1.3 semester units for their attendance. Teachers must attend all three days for the credit. Instructional Innovators will not get units since they are receiving compensation.
Will there be food at the conference?
A light breakfast will be provided at the conference site each morning from 8:00-8:30am. Lunch will be served at noon-1pm every day. Participants can bring their own lunch.
