Replacing the Vision for Secondary Physical Education: Equipping Teachers with Skills, Knowledge and Dispositions to Provide Effective Instruction in Physical Education and Contribute to the School-Wide Responsibility for Literacy Development
The California Physical Education-Health Project (CPE-HP) is a collaborative, statewide network of physical educators, health educators, classroom teachers, and university scholars dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in teaching standards-based physical education and health education. It is dedicated to increasing teachers' academic content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge in health and physical education that is research-based and content standards driven. This workshop will engage secondary PE teachers on replacing the limited vision of secondary physical education.
