Taking the Next Steps With NGSS
In this course participants will split into groups of Tk-2 and 3-5, and will:
- Experience and analyze the three dimensions of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) within a lesson.
- Learn how to modify existing resources to create their own NGSS lessons.
- Identify connections to Project Based Learning and opportunities for integrated ELD.

Intensive IEP Writing
Elementary RSP teachers will get information on the latest changes in SEIS as well as taking a deep dive into the complexities of IEP writing. Topics will include: how to write a clear, defensible FAPE page; assessing and writing ISP's for private school students; working with speech-only students; using standards-based goals; important timelines.
